LA MARATHON PREVIEW

Join us this FRIDAY JAN 31 at 7:15pm with some of your favorite run crews, @323runners @ladwpacers @lapuenterunners @twa_fitness @movementrunners @runwestadams @valleyrunnersla as we run the LA MARATHON ROUTE from Chinatown to Hollywood

Meeting up at 7:15pm
First wave starting at 7:30pm (11 minute miles and slower)
Second wave 7:45pm (10 minute miles and faster)
Roughly 10 miles with an option to extend to 12.

We will be meeting up at the Chinatown Metro Stop and returning from the Hollywood and Highland Metro station. Metro Tap card costs $2 (or. iPhone users can use their digital wallet) and it’s $1.75 to return back to Chinatown. We will have someone to help you through the process of getting a card if you’re not familiar with the system.

This is great way to get a feel of the route, run with friends and add some extra miles for funsies!

Water crew will be available throughout the route and coming with a pacing/running buddy is always strongly encouraged h it we will have pacers throughout.

Shout out and congratulations to our TEAM that held it down at this year’s @noshortcutstt. Unlike other unsanctioned runs where you are able to create your own route and just find your own way to finish, this actually has a route that includes some crazy landscape and beautiful sites from Santa Monica to San Diego.

Last year we finished this route at 10:42pm last night we came rushing in at 7:34pm that’s a 3 HOURS TIME CUT!!! Now that’s what we call TRUE CHAMPIONS!!

Monday we brought our 12th annual THINK PINK run to downtown La and we painted the town pink… but we kept to our spooky season theme and ran to the infamous Cecil Hotel the inspiration for many scary movies and shows.
